ADCB Confirms Services Restored Following Technical Disruption

Tue, Jul 7, 2026(2h ago)BusinessUAE

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has confirmed that its primary banking services are back to normal following a brief period of technical instability last week. The bank reported that its core systems, ATM network, and card services remained resilient, successfully handling record-breaking transaction volumes over the last few days. Importantly, the institution emphasized that at no point was customer information or account data put at risk; all balances remained accurate, and the integrity of user data was fully maintained throughout the duration of the incident.

While the majority of services have been restored, the bank noted that a small group of retail Aspire customers may still face intermittent access issues with the mobile application. In the meantime, ADCB has encouraged these users to utilize its fully operational internet banking platform—which now includes a mobile-optimized version—or visit their physical branch locations, some of which extended their hours to provide extra support. The bank has apologized for the inconvenience and is actively working to resolve the remaining mobile app accessibility for those few affected users.
