Flydubai Expands Global Reach to Over 100 Destinations This Summer
Flydubai is gearing up for a significant boost to its global presence, with plans to serve more than 100 destinations by the height of the summer season. Following a period of adjusted operations due to recent regional geopolitical tensions, the Dubai-based airline is successfully restoring its network to pre-conflict levels. This expansion includes the launch of new non-stop flights to Benghazi, Libya, starting June 17, marking a milestone as the first UAE carrier to offer direct service to this destination via a codeshare partnership with Emirates.
Beyond the new Libyan route, the airline is strategically scaling up its operations to meet the anticipated surge in demand during the Eid and summer holidays. Travelers can look forward to the return of popular seasonal routes to European hotspots like Santorini, Mykonos, Dubrovnik, and Bodrum, as well as the commencement of daily service to Bangkok in July. Despite some localized scheduling adjustments in markets like Pakistan, CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith emphasized that the airline remains committed to strengthening global connectivity and tapping into underserved regions, ensuring a robust and well-connected flight network for the coming months.
