Dubai Named Among World’s Top 10 Most Welcoming Cities
Dubai has officially been recognized as one of the most hospitable cities globally, securing the seventh spot in a recent study conducted by the insurance firm William Russell. With an impressive score of 7.61 out of 10, the emirate outperformed major hubs like Warsaw, Seoul, and Hong Kong. This ranking highlights Dubai’s enduring appeal as a premier destination for expatriates, fueled by its progressive visa policies, business-friendly environment, and a vast, diverse population that continues to attract international talent from every corner of the globe.
The study determined these rankings by evaluating a variety of metrics, including safety, employment rates for foreign-born residents, and general attitudes toward newcomers. While Zurich took the top spot, followed by Singapore and Tokyo, the data revealed a fascinating trend: massive economic powerhouses like London, Paris, and New York struggled to rank well, often due to social friction and safety concerns. This contrast underscores that size and financial influence do not always translate to a sense of community, whereas Dubai has successfully managed to balance its rapid development with an atmosphere that helps new residents feel truly at home.
