EaseMyTrip Introduces ‘ReSave’ to Help Travelers Capture Post-Booking Price Drops
Travelers often find themselves frustrated when the price of a flight drops shortly after they have already secured their tickets. To tackle this, EaseMyTrip has rolled out a new feature called "ReSave," a zero-cost add-on designed to monitor flight itineraries for post-booking price reductions. Unlike traditional tools that require passengers to manually keep tabs on fluctuating fares, this automated system tracks eligible price dips and ensures that the full savings are returned directly to the customer.
By integrating this tool into the booking process, EaseMyTrip is shifting its focus from a simple transaction-based model to a more comprehensive approach that provides value throughout the entire travel lifecycle. According to CEO Rikant Pittie, the goal is to make the booking experience more transparent and reassuring for users. Beyond just saving money, the company is also doubling down on its Agentic AI initiatives, aiming to create a more proactive and personalized travel experience that anticipates individual needs long after the initial ticket purchase is complete.
