Dubai Real Estate Market Booms with Dh111 Billion in Completed Projects
Dubai’s real estate sector experienced a remarkable first half of 2026, with the Dubai Land Department reporting the completion of 104 projects valued at over Dh111 billion. This represents a massive surge compared to the same period in 2025, which saw 75 projects finished at a value of Dh73 billion. This 52% increase in value highlights the city's robust growth and ongoing appeal to global investors. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasized that these figures validate the success of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, proving that the emirate remains a premier destination for business and sustainable development.
Beyond the total project value, the market saw significant gains across nearly every key metric, including a 36% rise in new residential units to 24,537. The total built-up area ready for occupancy expanded to nearly 2 million square metres, while land allocated for new development saw an extraordinary 135% leap in value, reaching Dh19.46 billion. According to officials, this momentum is driven by Dubai’s transparent regulations, world-class infrastructure, and a strong partnership with the private sector. As these numbers continue to climb, it is clear that Dubai is successfully cementing its reputation as a high-growth, stable environment for long-term real estate investment.
