Dubai Emerges as a Global Launchpad for Next-Gen Entrepreneurs
Dubai is solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for global business growth, most recently through the introduction of the Graduate Program in Entrepreneurial Leadership (GPEL) by Tetr College of Business. This unique year-long venture-building journey is designed to move beyond traditional classroom theory, tasking students with launching their own companies across three major international hubs. Participants begin their journey in Shanghai to master AI-driven product development and supply chains, move to London to refine their branding and financial strategies, and finally land in Dubai to scale their ventures for the global market.
By the time students reach the emirate, the program aims to have transformed their raw ideas into investment-ready businesses. The initiative emphasizes practical experience, connecting founders with international investors and mentors while integrating them into Dubai’s fast-paced startup ecosystem. With academic backing from Fudan University and Imperial College London, the program attracts a diverse group of aspiring founders, offering them a chance to tackle real-world challenges. This hands-on approach builds on the college’s proven track record, where student-led startups have already secured significant venture capital and generated over $1 million in revenue, proving that the future of entrepreneurship lies in direct, cross-cultural execution.
