As rescue teams continue a massive search and recovery mission for the thousands reported missing—including hundreds of foreign nationals—the Dubai-based airline stated that its schedule is proceeding as planned. The ongoing natural disaster has caused widespread infrastructure damage across the region, heavily impacting both local tourism and trade.

The airline, which has been connecting the UAE and Nepal since 2009, recently announced plans to expand its presence in the country with new service to Pokhara starting in September 2026. This commitment reflects the strong ties between the two nations, particularly given the large Nepalese workforce residing in the UAE. While authorities and emergency responders—including over 5,000 police and military personnel—work tirelessly to reach those stranded by the floods, Flydubai continues to facilitate essential travel between the two destinations.
