Dubai’s Gaming Hub Expansion: DMCC Sees 30% Growth Amid New Strategic Partnerships

Thu, Aug 27, 2026(2h ago)Business

Dubai’s vibrant gaming sector is hitting new milestones, with the DMCC Gaming Centre reporting a significant 30 percent increase in its membership over the past year. Now home to 165 companies, the hub has welcomed nearly 40 new businesses in just twelve months, further solidifying its status as a vital part of Dubai’s broader technology landscape. This ecosystem, which spans over 4,000 businesses involved in AI, Web3, and cybersecurity, is rapidly becoming a global magnet for developers and publishers looking to scale their operations.

To fuel this momentum, DMCC recently entered a strategic partnership with the Serbian Games Association, a move designed to bridge the gap between Middle Eastern and European gaming markets. Announced at Gamescom 2026, this collaboration focuses on sharing industry expertise, facilitating cross-market entry, and providing companies with reciprocal access to workspace facilities. By aligning with international partners, DMCC is not only attracting new talent but also creating a robust support system that allows gaming firms to collaborate with experts in emerging tech fields like AI and blockchain, effectively positioning Dubai as a central nexus for the future of digital entertainment.
