The United Arab Emirates and Lebanon have officially entered into a strategic partnership by launching a Joint Business Council. Formalized during the UAE-Lebanon Business Forum in Beirut, this agreement aims to boost bilateral trade and foster stronger investment ties. The initiative, signed by leaders from the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Lebanon, serves as an institutional framework to connect entrepreneurs and streamline economic cooperation across both markets.

Beyond the creation of this council, the forum proved highly productive with the signing of four additional memoranda of understanding. These agreements focus on identifying high-priority sectors and unlocking new commercial ventures for the private sector. By facilitating the exchange of market intelligence and providing a dedicated platform for strategic partnerships, both nations hope to cultivate a more robust environment for investors, ultimately paving the way for long-term growth and deeper integration between their respective business communities.
