UAE Wealth Projected to Surge to $6 Trillion by 2030
The United Arab Emirates has demonstrated remarkable financial resilience, with net wealth climbing 12.7% to reach $3.6 trillion between 2024 and 2025. According to the latest Global Wealth Report from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), this upward trajectory is expected to continue, with total net wealth projected to hit $6 trillion by 2030. Despite global market volatility and geopolitical tensions, the country’s economic diversification and robust sovereign wealth have cemented its status as a major global financial hub. This growth spans across various sectors, including significant gains in real assets and cross-border financial holdings, reflecting strong investor confidence in the region’s long-term stability.
Looking ahead, the distribution of this wealth is set to evolve, with a notable expansion in the population of high-net-worth individuals. While the UAE already serves as a home for roughly 500 ultra-high-net-worth individuals, that number is anticipated to swell to 800 by the end of the decade. Experts suggest that as the wealth pool continues to expand, financial institutions will need to pivot toward AI-driven strategies to manage the increasing client base efficiently. By adopting advanced technology to enhance advisory capacity, wealth managers can ensure they remain competitive while capitalizing on the substantial economic opportunities expected to unfold across the UAE over the next five years.
