Sharjah Launches ‘Najm’ AI to Streamline Investment Opportunities

Thu, Oct 15, 2026(4h ago)Business

Sharjah has officially introduced "Najm," a sophisticated AI-powered assistant created by the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) to simplify how entrepreneurs and businesses discover local opportunities. Unveiled at the ninth Sharjah Investment Forum, this digital tool acts as an interactive consultant, allowing investors to input specific project criteria—such as budget, industry, and facility size—and receive highly personalized, real-time guidance. By engaging in a direct dialogue with the system, users can quickly filter through industrial and commercial options that align perfectly with their specific expansion goals.

Currently, the first phase of Najm focuses on industrial land and factory listings, with plans to expand into sectors like healthcare, education, and technology in the near future. To ensure the accuracy and depth of its data, Invest in Sharjah has partnered with key entities including the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey, Bayut, and Property Finder. These collaborations allow the AI to pull from comprehensive property databases, significantly reducing the time it takes for investors to perform market research. This initiative reflects Sharjah’s broader commitment to leveraging technology to foster a more resilient, efficient, and investor-friendly economy.
