Abu Dhabi’s property market maintains strong momentum
Abu Dhabi’s residential property sector continues to show impressive resilience, closing the third quarter of 2026 with over 6,000 transactions totaling Dh21.5 billion. This sustained growth is fueled by the emirate’s ongoing economic diversification, robust infrastructure investments, and an increasing global appeal. As the capital strengthens its reputation as a premier business and tourism hub, the demand for premium real estate is rising, with a noticeable shift among investors toward high-value off-plan and luxury properties that promise long-term quality and location advantages.
Data from the first nine months of the year highlights the dominance of villas, which accounted for more than half of the total residential sales value. Looking ahead, the economic landscape is set to evolve further, supported by over Dh200 billion in active infrastructure projects. To capitalize on this investor confidence, the International Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS) 2026 is set to return this November at ADNEC. The event will serve as a vital platform for stakeholders to discuss the future of the industry, with a special focus on how artificial intelligence and property technology are reshaping the construction and investment landscape in the Middle East.
