Strengthening UAE-Greece Tech Ties Through AI Innovation
Abu Dhabi’s tech giant G42 has officially announced a major expansion into the European market, signing a series of strategic agreements with Greece to bolster AI infrastructure, digital governance, and life sciences. The partnership, solidified during a recent high-level business forum in Athens, aims to introduce G42’s "Intelligence Grid" to the region. Key projects include a planned AI factory—a collaborative effort between Khazna Data Centers, Core42, and Greece’s Copelouzos Group—designed to provide high-performance cloud and compute capabilities to vital sectors like shipping, telecommunications, and government services.
Beyond infrastructure, the collaboration emphasizes practical, AI-driven solutions for public life. Presight is set to work with the Greek government on smart city initiatives, utilizing AI for urban mobility and public safety, while Inception42 will introduce advanced tools to streamline government operations and educational platforms. Simultaneously, M42 is forging a path in healthcare through a partnership with the Athens LifeTech Park. This initiative focuses on genomics and specialized medical research, while also establishing a bilateral startup bridge that allows Greek and Emirati firms to enter each other's respective markets. All developments are strictly committed to adhering to European regulatory standards, ensuring that this digital integration remains both responsible and secure.
