Air India Announces International Flight Cuts Amid Rising Operational Challenges

Wed, May 13, 2026(55d ago)Business

Air India has officially announced that it will be trimming its international flight schedule between June and August. This decision comes as a direct response to a combination of mounting operational pressures, specifically citing significant airspace restrictions in certain regions and the ongoing burden of record-high jet fuel prices.

Despite these necessary adjustments, the carrier has reassured passengers that it remains committed to maintaining a robust global network. The airline confirmed that it will continue to operate over 1,200 international flights each month, ensuring that a significant portion of its service remains intact throughout the summer season.
