Xiaomi 17T Pro Debuts in UAE with Massive Battery and Leica Camera

Sun, May 31, 2026(90d ago)Business

Xiaomi has officially expanded its flagship footprint in the UAE with the launch of the 17T series, introducing significant hardware upgrades aimed at both mobile photographers and power users. For the first time, the series offers two distinct size options, headlined by the 17T Pro. A standout feature across the lineup is the integration of a Leica-engineered camera system, including a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and advanced AI-driven features like "Leica Live Moment." The Pro model, in particular, pushes boundaries with its 4K 60fps cinematic video capabilities and a professional-grade sensor designed to excel in challenging low-light environments.

Beyond its imaging capabilities, the series prioritizes longevity and visual comfort, featuring industry-leading 7,000mAh and 6,500mAh batteries for the Pro and standard models, respectively. Both devices sport vibrant 1.5K AMOLED displays that boast high peak brightness and extensive eye-care certifications to minimize strain during extended use. Now available in the UAE, the 17T Pro starts at Dh2,899, while the standard 17T is priced from Dh2,399. To sweeten the deal, Xiaomi is bundling each purchase with promotional subscriptions to Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, and Spotify, making these devices a compelling package for tech enthusiasts in the region.
