Dubai Gold Prices Continue Upward Surge as Rates Climb Near Dh550

Fri, Aug 21, 2026(3h ago)Finance

Gold prices in Dubai are continuing their impressive rally, with the 24K variant jumping to Dh547 per gram at the start of Friday's trading. This represents a significant increase of Dh6 over the last 24 hours alone, contributing to a total rise of nearly Dh60 per gram throughout the month. Other gold categories have mirrored this trend, with 22K, 21K, and 18K varieties seeing steady gains to reach Dh506.5, Dh485.75, and Dh416.25 per gram, respectively.

Market experts suggest that this momentum is part of a broader bullish trend rather than a fleeting spike. Analysts from Century Financial and XS.com believe that while minor pullbacks may occur due to investors locking in profits, the underlying market structure remains strong. Provided that gold holds its current support levels, many observers expect the metal to continue testing higher resistance zones in the near future, keeping it firmly in the spotlight for both local buyers and global investors.
