ADX Hits 99% Disclosure Compliance Milestone in H1 2026
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has reported a robust performance for the first half of 2026, reaching a 99% compliance rate regarding the disclosure of audited financial statements. Out of 101 actively traded companies, 100 successfully met the regulatory requirement to submit their second-quarter results within the mandated 45-day window. This high level of transparency highlights the exchange's commitment to market integrity, especially as total aggregate profits for listed firms surged by 38% compared to the same period in 2025.
Beyond its regulatory milestones, the exchange experienced significant growth in market activity and investor interest. Total traded volume climbed by 3.7% to hit 50.3 billion shares, while the trading value reached Dh171 billion. The investor base also expanded considerably, with over 30,000 new participants joining the platform, the vast majority being international investors. With institutional players driving 78% of the trading value and a healthy balance between domestic and foreign participation, the ADX continues to solidify its position as a growing hub for global capital.
