Emirates NBD maintains steady growth as Q3 profits hit Dh6.4 billion

Wed, Oct 21, 2026(4h ago)Finance

Emirates NBD has reported a stable third quarter for 2026, maintaining a net profit of Dh6.4 billion—consistent with its performance in the second quarter. This resilience comes as the bank aggressively expands its balance sheet, bolstered by robust lending activities and the strategic integration of RBL Bank. While total income saw a healthy 6 per cent quarter-on-quarter increase to Dh14.3 billion, operating expenses rose by 18 per cent, reflecting the costs associated with the bank’s continued growth efforts.

For the first nine months of the year, the group achieved a total income of Dh42.2 billion, a 15 per cent year-on-year climb that highlights the strength of its diversified business model. Gross loans saw a significant jump of 27 per cent since the start of the year, reaching Dh833 billion, while deposits rose by 19 per cent to hit Dh935 billion. According to bank leadership, these results underscore the underlying durability of the UAE economy, which continues to benefit from strong domestic demand and population growth despite a challenging regional climate.
