Dubai-based AHOY Labs Triumphs Over Tech Giants in Enterprise AI Benchmark

Wed, Oct 7, 2026(3h ago)Technology

In a significant win for the UAE’s technology sector, Dubai-founded AHOY Labs has outperformed major global players like OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft in a rigorous enterprise AI evaluation. The company secured the eighth spot out of 26 systems on the EnterpriseRAG-Bench, an open-source framework that tests an AI’s ability to accurately navigate and retrieve data from vast, complex corporate archives. While industry leaders struggled with precision, AHOY Labs demonstrated superior performance, achieving a 74.95 score and maintaining a remarkably low error rate in document retrieval.

What sets AHOY Labs apart is its focus on data sovereignty and its ability to function entirely offline on a client's private infrastructure. While tools like OpenAI’s File Search returned a high number of irrelevant documents, AHOY proved that companies do not need to rely on public cloud services to achieve top-tier results. By enabling organizations—particularly those in sensitive fields like defense, healthcare, and government—to maintain full control over their data without compromising on intelligence, the firm has positioned itself as a leading provider of sovereign AI solutions.
