CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation Portal Now Live: Key Deadlines and Application Steps

Wed, Jun 3, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially launched its Class 12 verification and re-evaluation portal following a brief 24-hour delay. This platform is a vital resource for students—particularly those in the UAE and other international regions—who wish to contest their results or review scanned copies of their answer scripts. With concerns circulating regarding the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, this process provides a necessary mechanism for students to report errors, such as missing pages, miscalculations, or illegible content. It is important to note that the window for submission is quite narrow; the portal will remain active only until midnight on June 6, 2026, with no exceptions for late entries.

Students must be strategic in their approach, as they are restricted to a single application per candidate that covers all desired subjects and issues. Before finalizing, applicants should verify all details, as the submission cannot be edited once payment is processed. Fees are set at Rs 100 per answer book for general verification and Rs 25 for each individual question reviewed. While some students have expressed anxiety over potential grade changes, educators emphasize that this system is a rare and transparent quality-control measure. Final results after re-evaluation will be considered binding, meaning that whatever mark is calculated—whether higher or lower than the original—will serve as the student's definitive score for that subject.
