UAE weather: Mercury to touch 46ºC amid dusty conditions
Residents across the UAE should prepare for generally fair conditions this Tuesday, June 9, as reported by the National Centre of Meteorology. While there is a slight dip in temperatures, particularly in the northern regions, the country will still experience intense heat, with thermometers expected to climb as high as 46ºC in certain areas. Abu Dhabi can anticipate a range between 29ºC and 40ºC, whereas Dubai will hover around a high of 37ºC and a low of 29ºC.
Beyond the heat, the weather bureau has cautioned about shifting wind patterns. Light to moderate breezes originating from the southwest and northwest are expected to pick up speed throughout the day, occasionally reaching 40kmph and blowing dust across open areas. Due to these conditions, a yellow alert remains active for strong winds and choppy waters, with maritime authorities advising caution as the Arabian Gulf experiences rough patches, while the Oman Sea remains relatively calm.
