Abu Dhabi Authorities Shut Down 'Just Chilly' Cafeteria for Safety Violations

Wed, Jun 10, 2026(90d ago)UAE

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has ordered the immediate closure of 'JUST CHILLY CAFETERIA' in Al Ain's Al Jimi area due to persistent health and safety breaches. Officials stated that the establishment failed to rectify repeated violations, creating a significant risk to public health. Consequently, the cafeteria will remain shuttered until it fully addresses these shortcomings and meets all regulatory requirements mandated by the authority.

This shutdown follows a string of similar enforcement actions taken by ADAFSA against other eateries in the capital, including Galleria Cafe and Al Domyati Snacks, as part of its ongoing mission to uphold food safety standards. The authority performs regular inspections across all food outlets to ensure consumer safety and encourages the public to report any suspicious practices or hygiene concerns by calling the toll-free number 800555. These measures underscore the government's commitment to maintaining rigorous health protocols for all community members.
