UAE Warns Residents Against Using Unregistered Danalac Infant Formula

Fri, May 15, 2026(53d ago)UAE

The UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, alongside the Emirates Drug Establishment, has issued an urgent advisory regarding Danalac infant formula. Officials confirmed that this specific brand is not registered within the country and has not entered the local market through any official import channels. While authorities noted that there is currently no evidence of the product being widely circulated in UAE shops, they are taking a proactive stance to ensure consumer safety.

Residents who may have obtained the formula through personal imports or overseas purchases are being strongly urged to dispose of the product immediately. This precautionary measure is intended to safeguard children’s health and maintain public safety standards. Officials emphasized that because the product has bypassed official regulatory oversight, it should not be consumed under any circumstances.
