UAE Weather Forecast: High Temperatures and Possible Afternoon Showers

Thu, Jun 25, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology has predicted a mix of fair to partly cloudy skies across the UAE for Thursday, June 25. While the day will start off relatively calm, residents in eastern and southern regions should keep an eye out for convective cloud formations by the afternoon, which may bring a chance of localized rainfall. Winds are expected to transition from southeasterly to northwesterly, occasionally picking up speed to 40 kmph in western areas, which could lead to patches of blowing dust throughout the day.

Temperatures are expected to soar, with the country bracing for highs of up to 47ºC. In the major hubs, Abu Dhabi will see the mercury hit 43ºC, while Dubai is expected to reach 41ºC. As evening approaches, humidity levels will rise, particularly in internal regions, ranging from 20 to 88 percent across the Emirates. Those heading to the coast should prepare for sea conditions that will likely shift from slight to moderate, occasionally becoming rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
