UAE Set for Hot Friday as Temperatures Climb to 40ºC

Fri, Jun 26, 2026(13h ago)UAE

Residents across the UAE can expect a mix of fair and partly cloudy skies this Friday, June 26, as forecasted by the National Centre of Meteorology. While the day will start with pleasant conditions, some low clouds are likely to drift over the eastern coast. By the time night falls and heading into Saturday morning, the atmosphere will turn humid, with a good chance of mist developing across various coastal and internal stretches of the country.

Temperatures are set to heat up, with mercury levels reaching 40ºC in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while Sharjah is expected to see a slightly warmer high of 41ºC. Overnight lows in these major cities will hover around 30ºC to 31ºC. Throughout the day, light to moderate winds will blow from the southwesterly to northwesterly directions, occasionally freshening up in western areas with speeds reaching up to 35 km/hr, keeping conditions dynamic as humidity levels fluctuate significantly.
