Etihad Rail is Taking Passenger Convenience Beyond the Tracks
Etihad Rail is prioritizing a seamless travel experience by ensuring that passengers remain supported long after they step off the train. To bridge the gap between stations and final destinations, the network is introducing a convenient Dh10 shuttle bus service. This transport link will connect the Mohamed bin Zayed City station to major landmarks in the capital, such as the Adnec Centre, Reem Mall, and the Adnoc headquarters. Commuters can easily manage these connections via the official Etihad Rail website or mobile app, ensuring a stress-free transition from the platform to the city center.
The service is similarly robust in Fujairah, where the station will launch with dedicated rental car desks, taxi ranks, and e-hailing zones from its very first day of operation. According to Adhraa Almansoori, executive director of commercial for Etihad Rail Mobility, the organization is actively synchronizing train schedules with local public transport authorities to prevent any inconvenience for travelers. Beyond logistics, the company is exploring tourism collaborations, including potential rail-and-hotel packages, while empowering station staff to act as local guides for visitors. These efforts, combined with new roles like station masters and growing interest from retail businesses, highlight Etihad Railâs commitment to driving economic growth and enhancing the overall passenger journey.
