Ajman Co-op Offers Monthly Shopping Credits for Newborns

Fri, Jun 26, 2026(9h ago)UAE

In a move to bolster community support during the UAE’s Year of the Family, Ajman Co-op has launched a generous new program aimed at helping Emirati families with newborns. Under this “Newborn” initiative, eligible shareholders who welcome a child between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2026, will receive Dh300 in monthly shopping credits. This benefit, totaling Dh1,800 over a six-month period, is designed to help parents cover the essential costs of baby supplies and household necessities at any of the cooperative's retail branches.

Starting July 1, shareholders can apply for the program, with benefits kicking in once their applications have been processed and verified. According to Ayoub Mohammed Abdullah, the CEO of Ajman Co-op, this project represents the organization’s broader commitment to social responsibility and the long-term well-being of its members. By moving beyond traditional retail and focusing on sustainable community support, the cooperative aims to foster stronger family bonds and ease the financial pressures that often come with raising a newborn.
