UAE weather: Mostly fair with a chance of rain in eastern areas

Sun, Jun 28, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted generally fair to partly cloudy conditions across the UAE for Sunday, June 28. While much of the country will experience pleasant, clear skies, those living in the eastern regions should keep an eye out for convective clouds by the afternoon, which could bring a localized chance of rain. Overall, the country will remain warm, with thermometers hitting highs of 44°C in certain inland areas. Dubai and Abu Dhabi will see slightly more moderate highs of 38°C and 39°C, respectively, with nighttime lows settling in the high 20s.

As the day progresses into Monday morning, residents should prepare for an increase in humidity, which may lead to patches of mist or fog in coastal and internal zones. Breezy conditions are also on the horizon, as light to moderate winds shift from southwesterly to northwesterly. These gusts could pick up to 40 km/h, potentially stirring up dust in some areas. Despite the wind, maritime conditions are expected to stay calm, with slight seas anticipated in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
