UAE Soldier Laid to Rest Following Fatal Training Accident
On Sunday, June 29, the United Arab Emirates held a solemn funeral service for First Soldier Issa Ghuloom Al-Blooshi, who tragically passed away during a military training exercise the previous day. The ceremony was attended by Major General Hamid Muhammad Al-Rumaithi, Commander of the UAE Navy, who joined family members and colleagues in paying their final respects. During the service, the Navy Commander offered his deepest sympathies to the grieving family, seeking comfort and divine mercy for the fallen soldier.
The UAE Ministry of Defence had previously issued a formal statement confirming the loss of life during an internal training mission, though they refrained from releasing specific details regarding the circumstances of the event. In their official communication, the Ministry expressed profound sorrow over the incident and extended its support to the soldier's family, asking for strength and peace for his loved ones during this difficult time of mourning.
