UAE Ministers Honor Fallen Emirati Soldier
Several prominent UAE ministers have extended their heartfelt condolences to the family of First Corporal Issa Ghaloum Al Baloushi, an Emirati soldier who tragically lost his life during a domestic training mission this past Saturday, June 27. Among those paying their respects was Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, who visited the mourning majlis in Dubai to offer his personal sympathies. Similarly, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, expressed his deep grief, offering prayers for the soldier’s family as they navigate this difficult time.
The Ministry of Defence officially confirmed the loss and joined the leadership in honoring the late soldier's service, invoking prayers for mercy and strength for his grieving loved ones. Following his passing, a solemn funeral ceremony was held on Sunday, June 29, where friends, family, and officials gathered to pay their final respects. The service was attended by high-ranking military officials, including Major General Hamid Muhammad Al-Rumaithi, Commander of the UAE Navy, who joined the community in bidding farewell to the fallen hero.
