A devastating road accident in Ras Al Khaimah has claimed the life of 18-year-old student Salem Al Mazrouei. The teenager was on his way to his school in the Adhen area on Thursday morning to sit for his final examinations when the vehicle he was traveling in collided with a trailer truck. According to his father, Ali Rashid Al Mazrouei, the truck suddenly swerved onto the main road, and although Salem’s friend, who was behind the wheel, attempted to evade the collision, they struck the rear of the trailer. While Salem tragically passed away, his friend survived the crash and is currently in stable condition after sustaining multiple fractures.

In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Salem is being remembered as an exceptionally bright and kind-hearted young man. His father described him as a diligent student who was deeply respected by his teachers and cherished by his peers for his polite nature and constant willingness to help others. Educators who arrived to pay their respects were visibly moved, highlighting the significant impact Salem had on his school community. Though the family is grieving an unimaginable loss, they have expressed their faith, noting that Salem’s legacy of kindness and his strong devotion to his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
