UAE Weather Update: Intense Heat Returns as Temperatures Hit 46°C

Wed, Jul 1, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Following recent bouts of rain across parts of the UAE, the country is shifting back to fair and partly cloudy skies this Wednesday. Meteorologists attribute this stable weather pattern to the combined influence of surface high and low-pressure systems moving in from the east and west, alongside an upper-air pressure ridge. While residents may see occasional cloud cover over the northern and eastern regions, the overall outlook remains dry and settled for the remainder of the day.

However, the return of clearer skies brings a significant rise in heat. Inland areas are bracing for scorching temperatures peaking between 41°C and 46°C, while coastal regions and islands will experience a humid range of 37°C to 41°C. Even the mountain ranges will feel the warmth, with highs reaching up to 37°C. With light to moderate winds reaching gusts of 35 km/h and humidity levels climbing as high as 85% in some coastal spots, residents are advised to prepare for a sweltering day across the Emirates.
