Indian Embassy in UAE Shifts to Limited Walk-in Consular Services

Thu, Jul 2, 2026(3h ago)UAE

Starting Thursday, July 2, the Indian Embassy and Consulate General in the UAE will provide a restricted range of consular services, including passport, visa, and attestation support, on a walk-in basis. Operating under a first-come-first-served model between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm, these services are being offered due to internal administrative requirements. To ensure a smooth process and maintain safety, officials have requested that only applicants enter the premises, with the sole exception being parents accompanying minor children.

The mission has specified that all payments must be made in cash, and applicants are strongly encouraged to bring the exact amount to expedite processing. Furthermore, individuals must arrive with their application forms fully completed and all necessary documentation in hand. This arrangement is strictly temporary as the country transitions to a new service provider, Alhind Tours and Travels LLC, which will soon take over the management of passport and visa applications across 16 centers in the UAE.
