Fri, Jul 3, 2026(45d ago)UAE

A recent study conducted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre, in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Interior, has highlighted the remarkable sense of security enjoyed by those living in Dubai. According to the data, nearly 99 percent of residents feel completely comfortable walking alone after dark. This high level of public confidence is further backed by impressive metrics, including a 99.9 percent perception of daytime safety and a 96.2 percent trust rating in local police stations, underscoring the emirate's commitment to maintaining a secure environment for all.

This trend of high public satisfaction is not limited to Dubai alone; neighboring Sharjah is also reporting exceptional figures regarding community safety. Recent data from the Sharjah Police and the Department of Statistics and Community Development indicates that 99.7 percent of residents felt secure throughout 2025. With a 99 percent trust rate in law enforcement’s ability to uphold stability, it is clear that the UAE’s strategic approach to policing continues to foster a profound sense of peace and protection across the region.
