Alhind Tours & Travels Postpones Launch of Indian Consular Services in UAE

Sat, Jul 4, 2026(45d ago)UAE

Alhind Tours & Travels has announced a temporary hold on the launch of its new Consular, Passport, and Visa (CPV) services across the UAE. Although the company was originally set to begin operations on July 1, the rollout has been deferred due to administrative directives from the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi. Despite this setback, Alhind confirmed that it has finalized preparations, having already established 16 dedicated service centers in various locations, including Bur Dubai, Al Ain, and Ras Al Khaimah. The company remains in a state of readiness, waiting for further instructions from Indian diplomatic authorities to move forward.

The transition process has been complicated by ongoing legal proceedings in India’s Delhi High Court, where unsuccessful bidders have challenged the contract award process. While this dispute remains unresolved, the Indian mission has implemented temporary walk-in measures to ensure that essential passport, visa, and attestation needs are still met. Alhind has advised the public to continue relying on the official channels of the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate General of India in Dubai for their consular requirements in the interim. The firm expressed its commitment to transparency and thanked applicants for their patience while awaiting the necessary authorization to start operations.
