UAE faces scorching temperatures and dusty winds this Saturday

Sat, Jul 4, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted generally fair skies across the UAE for Saturday, July 4, 2026, though some low-lying clouds are anticipated to drift over the east coast. As the region settles into the peak of summer, residents should prepare for significant heat, with temperatures projected to climb between 25ÂșC and 47ÂșC. Specifically, Dubai is expected to reach a high of 43ÂșC, while Abu Dhabi will hover around 41ÂșC. With humidity levels potentially hitting 90 percent in certain areas, the atmosphere is set to feel quite oppressive throughout the day.

In addition to the sweltering heat, the weather bureau has warned of light to moderate winds shifting from northwesterly to southwesterly. These gusts, which may reach speeds of up to 40 kmph, are likely to stir up dust in some regions, potentially reducing visibility. Those planning to head out should also note that sea conditions are expected to remain slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and relatively calm in the Oman Sea.
