In a historic first, the Emirati aerobatic team, Fursan Al Emarat, is set to join the United States’ 250th Independence Day celebrations on July 4, 2026. Representing a significant milestone in diplomatic ties, the team will perform alongside the elite US Navy Blue Angels and other US Air Force units. According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, this collaborative aerial showcase is designed to highlight the enduring strategic partnership and shared values that define the relationship between the two nations.
Beyond the joint flyovers, Fursan Al Emarat will showcase their technical mastery over New York City’s Jones Beach. The team plans to paint the sky with the vibrant colours of the UAE flag, serving as a powerful tribute to Emirati excellence on the global stage. Meanwhile, the capital is preparing for a massive event on the National Mall, where President Donald Trump is slated to deliver a landmark speech amidst a spectacle featuring military flypasts and what is expected to be the world's most elaborate fireworks display.
