Indian Consulate in Dubai Ends Walk-in Passport Services

Tue, Jul 7, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The Consulate General of India in Dubai has officially announced a change in policy regarding how residents access consular services. Effective immediately, the office will no longer accommodate walk-in visitors for passport-related matters. This shift is intended to streamline operations and ensure that all individuals seeking assistance are processed efficiently through an organized scheduling system.

To secure a time slot, applicants are now required to use the dedicated online portal at book.passportindiauae.com. The consulate has emphasized that appointments must be booked exclusively through this official channel, as unscheduled visits will not be entertained. Residents are encouraged to plan their visits well in advance to avoid any inconvenience and to ensure their documentation needs are met without delay.
