Showcase Your Art on the Burj Khalifa: Emaar Launches Global Design Competition

Fri, Jul 10, 2026(4h ago)UAE

Ever dreamed of seeing your own artwork projected onto the world's tallest building? Emaar has officially opened a global call for artists to transform the Burj Khalifa’s massive facade into a vibrant canvas. Unlike last year’s contest, which was restricted to UAE residents, this edition invites creative talents from across the globe to submit their audio-visual designs. Running until August 18, 2026, the competition serves as a tribute to innovation and the unique spirit of Dubai, offering winners the prestigious opportunity to have their work showcased on one of the most iconic landmarks on the planet.

To participate, artists must submit an original three-minute audio-visual piece that aligns with UAE cultural values. It is important to note that the submission guidelines are strict: all entries must be completely original, and any content generated by artificial intelligence will be immediately disqualified. Applicants are required to provide a high-resolution MOV file, an MP4 preview with integrated music, and a 300-word concept note explaining the story behind their work. Detailed technical templates are available on the Burj Khalifa website, and final entries should be emailed to [email protected] before the deadline. While last year's competition featured a cash prize, this year's focus is entirely on the unparalleled exposure of having your art light up the Dubai skyline.
