UAE weekend weather: Mild clouds and rising temperatures

Sat, Jul 11, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted pleasant, fair to partly cloudy skies across the UAE this Saturday, July 11. It’s an ideal day for residents looking to head outdoors, though those near the coast should be mindful of humidity levels creeping in overnight and into Sunday morning. Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, blowing from the southwesterly to northwesterly directions at speeds between 10 and 25 kmph, with occasional gusts reaching up to 40 kmph in eastern regions. The seas will stay relatively calm, ranging from slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and remaining slight in the Sea of Oman.

While the weekend offers a reprieve from the extreme heat seen on Friday—when temperatures soared to a staggering 47.8°C in Hamim—it remains quite hot across the country. Residents should prepare for highs of 39°C in Dubai and 41°C in both Abu Dhabi and Fujairah. Inland areas will feel the heat more intensely, with Al Ain reaching 44°C and Sweihan climbing to 45°C, while Ras Al Khaimah is expected to see a peak of 42°C.
