UAE Braces for Sweltering Heat With Temperatures Climbing to 47ºC

Sun, Jul 12, 2026(3h ago)UAE

Residents across the UAE should prepare for another warm day as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts fair to partly cloudy skies. While the weather will remain relatively stable, the heat will be intense, with inland temperatures expected to peak at a scorching 47ºC. Coastal cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai are also set to see the mercury climb, with daily highs forecast to reach approximately 42ºC.

Throughout the day, light to moderate winds originating from the south and northwest will provide little respite, blowing at speeds between 10 and 20 kmph, occasionally gusting up to 30 kmph. As evening approaches, temperatures will drop to lows of 31ºC in Abu Dhabi, 30ºC in Dubai, and down to 28ºC in internal regions. Meanwhile, humidity levels will fluctuate significantly, ranging from 25 to 80 percent, while maritime conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight and calm.
