UAE Stands in Solidarity with Kuwait Following Drone Attack

Mon, Jul 13, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The United Arab Emirates has issued a firm condemnation following a hostile drone strike that targeted Kuwaiti territory. The coordinated assault impacted three land border crossings along with an offshore drilling facility operated by the Kuwait Oil Company. While the attack resulted in significant material damage to the infrastructure, reports also confirmed that one worker sustained injuries during the incident.

In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the act as a blatant breach of Kuwait’s national sovereignty, characterizing it as a direct threat to regional peace and stability. Emphasizing its unwavering support for its neighbor, the UAE reaffirmed its commitment to standing with Kuwait on all measures taken to protect its borders and ensure the safety of its citizens, while extending well wishes for a swift recovery to the individual wounded in the attack.
