For the first time since its inception, Dubai’s prominent parking operator, Parkin, is venturing beyond its home emirate. The company has officially inked a long-term contract with Arada Developments to oversee parking infrastructure within the Aljada community in Sharjah. As the exclusive operator for the site, Parkin will manage a vast network of on-street, off-street, and building-based parking across the project’s residential and commercial zones.

The rollout is scheduled to take place in phases between 2026 and 2030, eventually bringing 9,900 parking spaces under Parkin’s sophisticated digital ecosystem. Drivers can expect seamless, tech-forward experiences, as every facility will be integrated with camera-based access and automated mobile payments. With an estimated capital investment of up to Dh10 million, the project is projected to generate significant revenue for Parkin over the next decade, marking a major milestone in the company’s regional growth strategy.
