UAE weather: Fog alerts issued alongside chances of rain

Wed, Jul 15, 2026(4h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a mix of fair to partly cloudy conditions across the UAE today. While the day will be characterized by light to moderate breezes, residents should prepare for rising temperatures as the mercury climbs to a sweltering 45°C in major cities like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. Additionally, there is a possibility of convective cloud formations over eastern and southern regions, which could trigger localized rainfall.

Authorities have issued red and yellow weather alerts due to dense fog, cautioning motorists about significantly reduced visibility in specific areas, particularly during the late night and early morning hours. As humidity levels are expected to spike in western coastal zones, the maritime conditions will vary, ranging from slight in the Arabian Gulf to occasionally rough in the Oman Sea. Residents are encouraged to stay alert and monitor official updates while navigating these changing weather patterns.
