Reduce Your Abu Dhabi Traffic Points at the Liwa Rutab Festival
If you are a driver in Abu Dhabi looking to clear some of your accumulated traffic points, the upcoming Liwa Rutab Festival in the Al Dhafra region offers a convenient opportunity to do so. Running from July 14 to 23, the event features a dedicated Abu Dhabi Police platform where motorists can attend specific educational courses designed to promote road safety and help violators reduce their penalties. This initiative follows a similar successful program recently held at the Zayed Central Library in Al Ain, reinforcing the police force's commitment to community engagement and traffic awareness.
To take advantage of this service, attendees must visit the festival police booth during the designated windows of July 17–19 or July 22–23. Participants are required to register for one of three daily awareness lectures held at 4:30 pm, 6:00 pm, or 7:30 pm. It is essential to arrive at least 30 minutes early to handle the paperwork, and you must carry your Emirates ID to finalize the registration. Beyond the traffic services, the Liwa Rutab Festival itself is a major cultural highlight, celebrating the UAE's date harvest through various competitions, heritage markets, and traditional crafts under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
