Nearly Half a Million Voices Unite to Celebrate the UAE’s Stability
In a powerful display of global solidarity, nearly half a million people from 136 countries have come together to share heartfelt messages of gratitude for the United Arab Emirates. Launched by the Dubai-based Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), the "Thank You UAE" initiative was created to counter misinformation during a period of regional geopolitical tension, where rumors falsely suggested the nation was facing instability. Dr. Mohamed Al Hasan, Director of Media at SIRA, noted that the overwhelming response serves as a testament to the country’s reputation as a secure and welcoming home for residents and visitors alike.
The initiative is now entering its second phase, bolstered by a strategic partnership with Dubai Customs to broaden its reach across the emirates. More than just a digital platform, the project offers a space for individuals to voice their loyalty and appreciation for the nation’s safety and inclusive environment. As Rashed bin Harb Al Shamsi of Dubai Customs highlighted, this effort goes beyond border protection, focusing on the shared values of belonging. Those who wish to participate can submit their own messages at www.shukranuae.emaratalaman.ae, where they will be reviewed and published to join the growing collection of stories from people around the world who have experienced the unique sense of peace and care that defines the UAE.
