UAE Weather Forecast: Cooler Temperatures and Dusty Conditions Ahead

Mon, Jul 20, 2026(11h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted a shift in the weather for Tuesday, July 21, with conditions turning partly cloudy to overcast, particularly across northern regions of the UAE. Residents in coastal areas can look forward to a welcome drop in temperatures, offering a slight reprieve from the intense heat. However, the day will likely be characterized by dusty conditions as southwesterly to northwesterly winds pick up speed, gusting up to 40 km/hr at times.

For those planning to head to the coast, expect slight to moderate sea conditions, though the Arabian Gulf may become rough toward the west; the Oman Sea is expected to remain relatively calm. Across the major hubs of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, temperatures will peak between 39ºC and 41ºC, before settling to overnight lows ranging from 30ºC to 33ºC. It is advised to stay cautious during the windier periods of the day as blowing dust could reduce visibility.
