In response to regional trade disruptions, Dubai Customs successfully launched the "Green Corridor," a strategic transit route linking the emirate to Oman via the Hatta border. Between March 1 and June 30, this initiative proved vital for global supply chains, facilitating the movement of over 3.16 million tonnes of goods valued at Dh33.9 billion. During this four-month window, more than 203,000 containers from 188 countries utilized the corridor, with food products leading the volume at Dh5.3 billion, followed closely by machinery, electrical equipment, and vehicles.

Beyond managing cargo, the initiative focused on supporting business continuity through significant financial flexibility. Dubai Customs introduced supportive economic packages, including extended deadlines for customs declarations and an 80 percent reduction in financial penalties, which injected Dh79 million in liquidity into 428 local companies. By extending transit periods and diversifying entry points through the ports of Khorfakkan and Fujairah, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation successfully reinforced investor confidence and ensured that essential goods, including critical pharmaceutical supplies, continued to reach their destinations despite ongoing regional volatility.
