Saudi Arabia has launched a convenient one-year, multiple-entry Umrah visa, offering UAE residents greater flexibility to perform the pilgrimage throughout the year. Designed as an alternative to the traditional single-entry permit, this visa allows holders to enter the Kingdom multiple times, provided their total stay does not exceed 90 days. Travel agencies in the UAE report that the visa is already in high demand, with processing typically taking about two working days. While the visa itself remains valid for a full year, it is strictly reserved for religious purposes rather than general tourism.

To secure the visa, applicants must work through authorized travel agencies, which act as sponsors and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations. While pilgrims are free to arrange their own flights and accommodations, every journey must be registered and approved through the Nusuk app. For each visit, travelers are required to provide updated documentation, including hotel vouchers, return tickets, and transport details. It is important to note that families must apply individually, and all travelers are expected to adhere strictly to the dates and itineraries submitted for each trip to avoid penalties for the sponsoring agency.
