UAE weather: Expect fair skies with temperatures reaching 40°C
The UAE is set to experience a mix of fair to partly cloudy conditions today, with increased cloud cover anticipated over the northern and eastern regions. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted light to moderate winds throughout the day, though residents in exposed areas should be mindful of occasional gusts that could stir up dust and affect visibility. Meanwhile, those heading to the coast can look forward to favorable marine conditions, with slight to moderate waves expected across both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Temperatures across the nation remain warm, with Dubai hitting a peak of 40°C and Abu Dhabi reaching slightly higher at 43°C. In Sharjah, the mercury will fluctuate between 30°C and 41°C, while overnight lows in the major cities are expected to settle in the low 30s. This follows a particularly hot Tuesday, during which Gasyoura in the Al Dhafra region recorded a sweltering high of 49.5°C, serving as a reminder that peak summer heat is still very much a factor for those spending time outdoors.
